Oops I Did It Again Graduation Cap

I did information technology again. I should have known amend. I should have learned my lesson. But in that location I was, freaking out again. Not like before. I didn't lose any slumber or wake up in the eye of the nighttime in a panic. But I did start to become nervous again.

As many of you lot know, I am directing a 5K race this weekend. Everything has been coming together so well. All the pieces have been fitting in place. The sponsors accept come through. The timing is set. The registrations have been coming in slowly but surely. The t shirts are done and beautiful.

Ane piece of the puzzle was even so not in identify. Because of COVID restrictions, the school would not be open for the runners to utilize the residual rooms. Concluding twelvemonth we rented a portable toilet, and this year the asking was fabricated to hire 2. But I held off on making that arrangement, hoping the school policy might change. It didn't, and I fabricated the call to the rental visitor, merely the person who coordinated the port-a- potties had just stepped out. He would phone call me dorsum the voice on the phone assured me. But the stop of the role hours came and no call.

Then I went to their website and put in an email request and the automatic bulletin bodacious me they would get back to me the next business day. So I waited, and no call. That is when I started to worry. The race was merely a few days away and we were not going to have anywhere for the runners to use the facilities.

But I noticed that the office opened at seven:00 am, so I called at seven:10, and sure plenty, the connexion was made. The man on the telephone constitute our previous order and asked if it was going to be the same place and time equally before. The just modify was ii instead of ane. And like that, in a very few minutes, information technology was all set.

"Come across," God whispered in my ear, "I accept everything under control. You lot have to learn to trust me. Of class, it would take helped if yous had made the order months ago. You could ever cancel if things change. You do your part and permit me do mine."

So, by 7:20, everything was set. All the details are taken intendance of. Volunteers are coming together. I got a call from i of our sponsors that they had five team members who were going to participate.

Once again, I need to hear Jesus' words from the Sermon on the Mountain: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you too. Therefore, practice not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each twenty-four hours has enough trouble of its own." Matthew vi:33-34

Now, Lord, if you could exercise something virtually that thirty% chance of rain….
